Possible Treatments

Standard treatments of endogenous Cushing's Syndrome are aimed at reducing
the source of elevated cortisol production. Generally, this is accomplished by
surgical removal of the tumor. Some patients may require radiation treatment
and/or chemotherapy. In certain instances, the physician may choose to treat the
patient with other medications.
